Rahul from Kuala Lumpur, MalaysiaGood thing u didnt use the flash here pal. The lighting in this pic is mysterious and makes this pic really interesting. :-) PS : Buddy, i have a wedding shoot this weekend on Saturday, and who can be better than you for a crash course on it. ;-) If you have time, do drop me a few PRO tips in my email. Also, which software you use for the albums and CD + Music arrangement in your final cut. 27 Jun 2007 5:20am @Rahul: Hey Rahul! My specialty is company's events. Wedding is just a little bit here and there so I never created album or DVD slideshows. But here is a lil tips that can hopefully makes your life easier =) Use Apt priority, ISO 100 during daylight and 500 for the evening, 800 for dark night, matrix metering, shade WB for outdoor (WB is crucial). Indoors reception, Family formal, Bridesmaid, all guest pics, use 17-55mm lens. Bride make up, details, window light, bride alone, getting ready, use 50mm lens. For a fun group shot, you can also use fish eye 10.5mm lens, hold high shoot down! Don't go over IS0 800, capture mood, EMOTION, & story. Extreme close up, blur background. Super wide angle on audience. Exposure is important. For composition, don't tilt too far, 20 degree angle to the right is enough. A nice mix variety is the key. Lighting, expose with shadows to create hair light. Bend down a lot. Group pic use F6 or F8. Make them feel natural, laugh, and be comfortable. Shoot the details such as ring, cake, bridal gown, shoes, invitation card, center piece/ decoration, etc. Most importantly, enjoy, relax and have fun with the crowd! Alfredo J. Martiz J. from Tokyo, JapanGreat lighting, nice composition and emotional, nice photo! 27 Jun 2007 5:26am @Alfredo J. Martiz J.: Thanks Alfredo for your kind words!
